THE WOOL SHED, opened in June, 2001 offers the finest in local yarns and spinning fibers. Located in Worcester, VT, THE WOOL SHED can satisfy all your needs for your next knitting or spinning project. We carry a full line or yarns, patterns and knitting supplies. We are a Louet dealer for the spinning wheel of your dreams. Our spinning fibers come from the animals on the farm - wool, alpaca and angora rabbit - along with other local and commercial fibers.
FROSTBITE FALLS FARM is the home to our merino sheep and angora rabbits. They are always ready to "shake and howdy" when you come by.
This yarn is handpsun from "Thistle", our resident Icelandic/Cormo X sheep. Perfect yarn for hats, fingerless mitts or scarfs.
We also carry our own 100% merino wool yarn in natural and dyed skeins
100% local wool yarns we have dyed or handpainted in a aray of colors.
We carry yarns from Louet, Brown Sheep and Catalina.
Knitting needles from Brittany and Clover. Patterns by Green Mountain Spinnery, Fiber Trends and our own original patterns.
